island near Ningbo

After visiting Ningbo to see the old family home, we travelled to the many islands off the east cost of China, south of Shanghai.

We took the ferry to one of the islands, which is famous here for some highly popular soap opera TV show set in ancient times. Most of the setting was actually built for the TV show (latter pictures). The first pictures was a nice walk around the headland. You could actually see a rate chinese beach. Most of the east coast is esturary / tidal muddy coastlines.
